“Imagine how much better and brighter this world would be if instead of staining it with violence, corruption, greed, and hate we took the time to paint it in love, compassion, understanding, and kindness. Imagine if instead of tearing one another down we instead chose to build each other up. How different the world would be if we all just stopped to show we care, to reach out a helping hand, and to be there to listen instead of criticize and judge. Then we would truly begin to see the seeds of hope, faith, and peace flourish and blossom and we’d see dreams and miracles start to take place instead of seeing the destruction caused by the doubt, insecurity, and lies that society so often brings with it.”

Always stop and take the time to reach out to others in need when the opportunity presents itself because you never know how God is working through you to touch someone else’s life who may be going through something that you can’t even begin to imagine, who is just in need of someone to be there, to listen, and to give them hope again in life. I believe that God can take a not so beautiful past and turn it into something beautiful and positive in order to help those around us. I don’t believe that we just cross people’s paths by chance because I believe that we meet people for a reason and that every person we encounter we have a chance to make a difference in their life and help to change it just as they make a difference in our lives and help to change ours.

“Miracles are those little things that people don’t think are possible or will happen but are those big things that find a way to happen anyways despite the doubt of others when we choose to believe in possibilities, in opportunities, and most of all when we believe in ourselves. It is the power of our faith and our hope that help miracles to grow and blossom even in the darkest of time and it’s our passion for the life we’re living that keeps them alive. Sometimes we have to tear down the negative walls of the past and rebuild a more positive present for ourselves in order to see the miracles around us happening. Because it’s when we truly believe, when we free our mind and keep our hearts open, when we let the light in again, that we begin to see those miracles transform the world around us into the most beautiful view we’ve ever seen.”

When Everyone Else by Jenna Kandyce Linch

When everyone else….

limits themselves in what they can do, break the limitations and go above and beyond to see how far you can go.

doubt their potential, have faith in your abilities, knowing you have the power to help change the world and make a difference.

choose to stay in the safety of their own comfort zone, venture out into the unknown and find out what life holds.

judges those who are different based on their own assumptions, show them what love and acceptance are all about by seeing what lies in a person’s heart and soul.

try to be like someone else and imitate their lifestyle, dare to be yourself for you are a unique individual who is one of a kind and the best role in life for you to be in is the one you all ready star in which is being yourself.

only see a person’s past, see the person for who they are today and everything that makes them who they are.

focus and point out your “flaws and weaknesses”, concentrate and focus on what you know to be your strengths in life.

trades in their passion for glory, stay true to yourself and use your passion to make your dreams happen.

remain silent about important issues, believe your voice means something and speak out about the truth as you stand up for what you believe in.

follow the same road as others are taking, break away and pave your own path in life as you follow your heart to where you should and want to be.

just see the surface of things, be willing to look beyond to see and discover a world of endless possibilities and untold beauty.

attempt to prove to others how great they are, prove to yourself you can overcome anything by getting out there and knowing you’re all ready great for just being the person you are.

make excuses as to why they can’t do what they think impossible, ask yourself why not you and achieve the impossible.

think it’s weakness to cry or show emotion, don’t be afraid to release your feelings because through our tears we find strength to build ourselves back up again.

give up on their dreams and hopes, hold onto your dreams and hopes as you ignite the spark of faith and keep the will to survive burning within your heart and continue to rise above in life.

see the world in shades of gray, add color to it by painting a portrait of love, kindness, and compassion that shows its beauty

takes their life for granted, find pleasure in and appreciate the small things in life that give it meaning and make it all worth it.

forget about those who play an important part in their life, make sure to tell the ones you love and care about how much they mean to you, refusing to let the moment pass you by.

tear down others with their words, use your words to help heal and build them up as you use faith, hope and love to put back together the pieces of a broken heart.

walks away from those hurting and in need, reach out a hand and be there for them, listening and showing you really care by staying with them and walking by their side down life’s road.

tries to keep you from moving on in life and discourages you from moving on, write new chapters in your life by turning the pages ahead and closing out previous chapters as you work on an even better sequel.

runs away from their problems, stop and confront each challenge, knowing that the trials you go through make you that much stronger and that from each life experience you gain more wisdom and knowledge that you can take and use to help teach others by sharing a bit of yourself with them.

leaves broken fences in their lives unrepaired, repair broken fences in your life by using lessons learned as the foundation and strength, courage, hope and faith to repair and hold them together.

wish they could go back and change their past, live in the present and make the most of it, working to create a better future and life for yourself and doing what you can to make the world a better place for generations to follow.

doubts you and what you can do, believe in yourself, knowing that after everything you’ve been through and survived in your life you are still here standing strong and you do have a purpose and play an important part in the world.

looks down on you because of your age, know that it doesn’t matter how old you are because none of us are ever too old or too young to make a difference in the lives of others and have an impact on someone else’s life for we can all learn from each other.

walks out of your life and leaves you behind, look beside you and you will see the faces of the true friends in your life who are there for you and choose to stay through the good and the bad, never giving up on you but always having faith and believing in you for they accept you for who you are and know that with friends like that you are never alone in life because they will always be right there by your side.

has a negative attitude about life, take the negatives that have happened in your life and turn them into something positive that will not only help you get through those hard times but will also give others hope, letting them know they don’t have to go through hard times alone and that they too can make it in life.

abandons their morals and values, hold onto yours and never back down or surrender but stand strong and steadfast for what you know is right.

just live your life and be yourself, regardless of what others say or think about you and live it to the fullest, embracing every part of yourself and taking pride in who you are because you are a special, beautiful person who makes the world a better and brighter place :).

“Without the past there’d be no present, without hope there’d be no faith, without changes there’d be no room to grow, without challenges and battles, there’d never be any victories won or gained, without chances there’d be no possibilities or opportunities, without love there’d be no compassion or kindness, without dreams there’d be no visions for a better tomorrow, without closed doors there’d never be any new doors to open and find out what waits for us, without courage there’d be no freedom, without determination there’d never be any inspiration or motivation to get out there and overcome the obstacles we’ve faced in our lives, without breaking down there’d be no building ourselves back up again, and without every experience we go through and have gone through in life there’d be no story to tell for it’s through every experience lived that we gain more of an insight into helping and reaching others who have been there in their own lives or are there. Everything we’ve seen and felt, every trial we’ve endured, every good time we’ve celebrated, every hard time we’ve faced, every struggle we’ve fought through all comes together to play a part in telling our story and helping prepare us and transform us into the people we’ve become today. For it’s in this journey of life, it’s in surviving those storms, that we discover more of who we are.”

“To a society who thinks that caring too much and showing kindness is a sign of weakness this is what I have to say. You can never care too much but you can not care enough. If no one ever took the time to show compassion, love, encouragement, kindness, understanding, empathy and support for others, then we’d see a lot more people giving up in life. It is those who take the time to be there for others, who dare to care and who perform those acts of kindness without ever expecting anything in return that restore faith and give others hope in life to keep holding on and for them I am truly thankful.”

“Never be afraid to be who you are because what makes you different is what makes you so unique, beautiful and special in this world. What you may view as the fragile parts of your life are really the parts of you that are the strongest for they tell of your courage to overcome the challenges you’ve faced in life, the determination to keep going through the hard times, and the strength to fight those battles and gain victory in your life. Written on your heart is the most beautiful, amazing story just waiting to be told, the story of your survival and how far you’ve made it and that story of you is still being written for every day, you are adding new chapters to your life with each new experience lived. For with every experience in life comes that much more knowledge and wisdom that you are able to share with others out there.”

I believe that our legacy continues to live on even after we’re gone through all the lives we’ve touched while we’re here on Earth.  People always remember those who took the time to be there, who listened, who reached out a hand to them in their time of need, who believed in them and had faith in them during the difficult times, who never gave up on them but shed light for them in their darkest hours, who showed them all the beauty and worth they have by helping them see what makes them so unique and one of a kind in this world by looking past the scars, and who gave them a chance, stayed, and fought by their side when no one else would.  For it’s those little acts of kindness we do for others that leave a lasting impression on their hearts and makes a huge difference that we may not even be aware of, thus inspiring them to give back to and share with others they gift they’ve been given as they pay it forward.  That is how our legacy and the legacy of those who came before us and helped to pave the way in history lives on; it stays alive and can be seen through the lives of those we’ve touched, had an impact on, and helped every chance we had.  That is why every day, every person we encounter, every person we meet and cross paths with, we should smile, say a kind word, do something nice for them because we never know where they’ve been in their lives, what they are dealing with now, and what they are going through at this very moment.  One encouraging word, one smile, one little act of kindness performed on our part, taking the time to be there, and even just listening can turn that all around for someone and make it where they believe again, where they begin to heal and where they start to embrace life again as they begin to see that they are not alone in what they go through, that there are those with hearts of compassion, kindness, understanding, love and support who will choose to be there every step of the way to help them believe in themselves again and see there’s more to this life they’ve been given and more to them then they realize.

“Life truly is made up of so many little wonders and if we take the chance and take the time to see how beautiful life is then we discover all the possibilities out there waiting for us. Because the sweetest surprises in life are the ones that come along when we’re not expecting them but just happen as we’re out there enjoying the simple pleasures that life has to offer us.”

“Saying goodbye to the past is not forgetting where you’ve been in your life or what you’ve been through but it means that you’re strong enough and ready to move on and move forward with your life as you allow yourself to heal and give yourself the freedom to be who you are and live the life you want. It’s making the decision to let go of the negative in order to make room for more positive things to come into your life and it’s taking chances on love and happiness as you leave your heart open to new opportunities and possibilities; it’s having the courage to break down those walls you’ve put up due to being hurt and letting people in who are worth having in your life and it’s not being afraid to embrace every part of you and showing the world who you are because it’s those pieces you think are fragile that really are the strongest for they tell of your survival, of your will to keep fighting, and of the progress you’ve made in your own life by not giving up but rising above those challenges.”
